体坛：经过这个赛季，你对整个中超以及中国足球有何新的认识？

穆斯卡特：很难准确评价。我之前只是通过电视了解中超，现在来到这里后，我注意到很多变化。有些球队已经换教练，明年可能还有变动。因此，我开始思考如何继续提高表现。如果仅重复上一年的做法，很难再有所突破。例如，如果今年跑10公里，那么明年应该努力跑11公里，否则就会停滞不前。所以现在我关注的是如何在保持过往表现基础上，在体能和战术方面进一步进步，这样才能维持去年那种良好状态。当然需要改进之处还有很多。

体坛：您曾执教日本与澳大利亚联赛均获冠军，如今又带领海港获得第一座奖杯，对这三国联赛有什么看法？ < p >< strong > 穆斯卡特： 这是人性的比较心理，但要清楚不同国家间存在差异，例如澳洲有工资帽，日本没有；而中国虽然有限薪政策，却仍然允许外援参与。这使得简单比较变得复杂。然而，中超整体水准相当不错。在最近几个月里，各队都踢出了积极主动且富有激情的新风格，有助于提升球员能力。同时，在这些国家，不少国脚活跃海外，比如日本约50至90名选手分布欧洲各大联赛。此外，中超球迷热情似火，即便是在客场，也常感受到如同主场般温暖。对于本队取得成功，他们绝不可或缺，因此希望他们意识到自己也是这一成就的一部分。 < p >< strong > 体坛 ： 中国足球普遍重视结果，你认为你的理念会向公众传达怎样的信息呢? < / P > < P >< Strong>Muskate:I think the emphasis on results is not just in China; it’s a common viewpoint worldwide, including Australia. The investment should focus on children around ten years old because they are key to future success, like reaching the World Cup. If we only look for quick wins with our current player pool, improvement will be difficult. It’s crucial to develop young talents who can surpass their predecessors over generations rather than focusing solely on immediate outcomes.

This approach fosters long-term performance and results instead of short-lived successes motivated by pressure from external sources.

The goal is always about enhancing players’ performances while preparing effectively for future challenges—this cycle leads us toward better opportunities and ultimately more victories.

If you examine successful footballing nations such as Spain or Belgium, each has developed successive talented generation through consistent investments in youth development strategies that eventually yield fruitful returns down the line despite varying circumstances surrounding them (e.g., population size).
